Imagine you changed significant-others weekly. Each proves attractive, but each is different. Some are terrific, and you want more time with them. Some you can't wait to show the door. After awhile, however, you'd find it difficult to be impressed. Only the best would stand out. It' s that way with auto writers,. So be impressed when I say the 2004 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG is the greatest car I've tested in 15 years of weekly changes. These are the words of an auto writer in the initial road test of this great car. For sale here is certainly one of the nicest examples you will find. Purchased from Mercedes Benz of San Francisco with just over 2,000 by my son-in-law. He saw my new 7 on a recent visit and had to have it so I traded with him. (After driving this car I think I got the better of the deal) All service records go with the car as well as manuals, and 2 keys. I just had a major service performed at the Mercedes Benz dealer here in Kansas City, ($1300) and installed new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires of the correct and original size. In addition the car was professionally detailed and waxed with Zymol carnuba wax and the interior done with Zymol leather conditioner. This car is just beautiful. The condition belies the age of the car. No damage history and I know this is accurate because I know the history of the car. When the car was serviced I did have the few small chips touched (at the Mercedes dealer ), and had the bottom of the back bumper painted where there was small parking lot scuff. This too was done at the Mercedes Dealer so it is done right. The car runs and drives new. Everything works as it should. When I had it checked over the only thing that did not work was the cup holder, and it was replaced. Comes with a Mercedes Benz luggage carrier with tools, keys, and surf board, attachment. The car seems to me like an extreme bargain, considering the original purchase price of $92,000. Look at my feed back and bid with confidence. This car will not disappoint anyone.
