NO RESERVE! This is a wonderful running and driving Continental that has a very interesting history. It spent almost all of its life in California and Arizona and in 2006, was brought to North Carolina. This Lincoln was originally ordered for Mrs. Henry Ford II and was not delivered to her because divorce proceedings had begun from her husband. The car then went to Santa Ana Lincoln Mercury where it was behind the ropes on the showroom floor before it was purchased by Jack and Dorothea Bradley. The car was adored by Dorothea and most of the miles were put on the car going up and down the coast of California to San Francisco and back. When she could no longer drive, Dorothea garaged the car at their Newport Beach house and upon the Bradley’s passing, the car was stored in a warehouse in Southern California by their son. During the Northridge earthquake, a box fell on the car and the son instructed the shop to repaint the car completely. It was painted in the factory Platinum which is a very light blue and the color the car was born with. In 1998 the car was purchased by a gentleman from Arizona, where it stayed until 2006. He had hardened valve seats put in the engine so that the car could burn unleaded fuel. The original factory AM radio was replaced with an AM/FM Town and Country radio. The engine is the 462ci V-8 with 340hp and an automatic transmission. This rust free car is as expected, highly optioned including ice cold a/c, Dark Blue leather interior, power windows, power vent windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, reading lamps, power front seat, rare right hand mirror, variable speed windshield wipers and a fully lined trunk. This very clean car has 94,923 actual miles. Included are the original build sheet, original owners manual, warranty card, service manuals and all service records from 1997. This is a great investment opportunity.
