New Page 1 1964 Chevrolet Impala Wagon – Unrestored All Original Beauty…!! This is an amazing car in incredible original condition. Truly an original black plate California car. With just under 80,000 original miles this car runs and drives beautifully and starts on the first turn of the key.I am the third owner and this car was purchased new in North Hollywood CA and has been in the North Hollywood/Burbank area it's entire life. The factory six-cylinder engine and three speed manual transmission run whisper quiet and strong. The interior, door panels, headliner, dash and gauges are in excellent original condition. The front and rear seats have been recovered with correct materials to factory specs by a very qualified trimmer and look new. The car is a true gem and it runs and drives perfect. Always starts, runs turns and stops like only a nice original car does. The body, chrome, trim, door jambs, rubber seals and glass all in excellent condition. This is probably one of the nicest surviving 1964 Impala wagons in existence. You will not be disappointed. I just fitted brand new correct Goodyear whitewall tires. The only flaw is that the top part of the tail-gate and rear looks to have been repainted at some point and could be redone to look better.
