Vehicle Detail
This is a 1939 Ford Deluxe 2DR Sedan that has a clear title with current (2011) South Dakota plates and registration. The car has 1940 hubs which means that it uses late model standard 5 bolt Ford rims, original rear end with driveshaft and touque tube, two interior fans and an original South Wind heater, all dash gauges and clock are there as is the banjo stearing wheel. The body is very straight and the doors close and open like they were new however, there is NO engine or transmission. (I do have a trans, complete engine in parts and radiator for this year but they were from this car and will be sold seperatly). All of the door and window handles are included and none of the glass is broken but all of the glass will need to be replaced. I am selling the car as a local (Spearfish, SD) pickup and I can store it for a month or two after payment, if needed. I do have a car trailer and I am retired so I would be open to ideas about delivery. Spearfish is on I-90 and just 12 miles from Deadwood, SD and only 60 miles from Mt. Rushmore so a trip here to pick up the car could also be a nice little vacation. Please look over the pictures and feel free to email me with any questions, thanks for looking and good luck with your biding.....wyolou. Added pictures and info: I have added several pics that show two fender splits both on the right side one front one rear. Another pic shows a small rust through in the passenger floor pan. The missing piece of the passenger floor plan was made of wood and is missing. The wood on the driver's side will need replacement but that will be easy as what is still in the car is complete and will make a great pattern. I also added a few pics showing more detail of the rust out in the rear of the trunk. The extra front pic just shows that the headlight trim is with the car. PLEASE look over the pics which in total show a very solid and straight car needing very little body work. ........ wyolou PS Note that I fixed the spelling errors!
