This auction features a rare 1958 Super 4D Hardtop Riviera in superb cosmetic condition and show ready. It has very low miles, no winter driving, barely met the rain, pampered all its live and garaged... original chrome all around in superb condition, paint and carpets were refreshed profesionnaly but that's about the only restoration steps it went through. It is impressive to see a 53 years old car in that condition, really. It is a pure gem. The trunk floor carpet merged with the red primer, it is not rust. Mechanically sound, no leaks, no squeaking, no strange noise... transmission shift smoothly, engine sounds great, starts easily. The owner lost interest in the hobby and he is ready to accept a reasonable offer and accomodate storage if needs be for the winter since he already had a spot for this winter. It is a Canadian Buick and spent all its life in the Province of Quebec - estimated 4 owners. A TERREFIC TURN KEY show car and certainly a fabulous NECK TWISTER...! CUSTOM, EPA & DOT STUFF Custom fee is approximately 300$US if I take it across the border on a freight... but no import fees if you trailer it back home since you will import it yourself and they don't charge import tax that way for some reason. If I take care of export and transport, I will have all the paperwork prepared and you won't have to get your own custom broker. I take care of everything except of course, your State, Federal tax, inspection + State DMV registration. SHIPPING TERMS Shipping that car from Quebec (Canada) to Virginia is about 1000$US, to Florida, around 1700$US and to California would be more around 2500$US depending on the location. I usually ship enclosed, especially that kind of car. If you have a carrier on your own, we can work that out too... Want to save a few $$$? We suggest that you fly up to inspect the car of course but another option is to drive up and trailer it back home. Save on customs brokerage and import fees (300$) and transport as well. You need a passport to cross the border and we will provide you with the Certificate of Registration (no Titles in Quebec) and a Bill of Sale wich we will provide to you. A nice ride with a friend or with your spouse to Quebec City, Canada! The border process will be pretty easy but you will need a passport to cross the line (and your passenger(s) too!
