2006 Ford F-250 Diesel Lifted Pickup W/ Powerchip THIS TRUCK IS BIG, BAD, LOUD, AND VERY FAST!!! A TOTAL POWERHOUSE, THIS BEAST CAN PULL, PUSH, TOW, OR OUTRUN JUST ABOUT ANYTHING!! Up for bids is my Ford Powerstroke Diesel Pickup. It is a 2006, and is in great shape. The engine and mechanicals are in strong running condition, with no problems. There are no check engine lights, service alerts or other alarms. The truck has an Edge brand power chip, with several settings including one for extra horsepower and one for improved fuel economy....these chips add 100 horsepower on horsepower setting, and typically give you 20+ MPG on fuel economy setting. I nearly always run it on the Economy setting, and the difference in fuel mileage is unbelievable. BUT WHEN YOU WANT A LITTLE FUN, JUST CHANGE IT TO "PERFORMANCE" SETTING, AND LOOK OUT!!....IT WILL THROW YOU BACK IN YOUR SEAT!!!!! The truck is a very sharp truck, and will turn heads wherever you take it!! The body and frame are in good shape, although the body does have 2 minor dents, and a crease in the bumper. (See photos) The hood has some very, very tiny imprints from what I believe is hail....I included a photo of that also, but they are so minute that they barely can be seen in photo. You literally need to be standing almost against the truck to see the hood damage. The interior is in great condition also. One "cubby" lid does not latch and the CD player is not currently working. This is probably an easy fix, it just never bothered me enough to do anything about it. Paid over $1000 for tires, they still have most of the tread on them. Occasionally, in high gear, it seems like the transmission shifts back and forth quickly once or twice, then returns to high gear. My last truck was a much older model, and I don't even know if this is even a problem, or if I'm just unfamiliar with the newer style transmissions. This is very minute, and I've been driving it this way with no problems. Again, this is very trivial, almost unnoticeable, but I want to be sure to mention everything in this description. The trans does not slip, does not have trouble finding gears, and shifts solidly. I have tried to include plenty of photos, and all the information I can. Hoever, we encourage you to ask any questions you may have, and you are welcome to inspect the truck in person, or even test drive it....that is always the best way to be sure of what you are buying.
