Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1967 Ford Mustang body. The paint on it could be buffed out and made to look pretty good with a little scrubbing. There are rust spots and places on the car where some body work would need to be done to make it look right, but all of that can be seen from the pictures! I purchased this and another 67 mustang at the same time with the intentions of making them both run. The reason I'm letting this one go is because after an inspection I noticed the frame is not safe for road use. It could be fixed by someone with better welding skills than me. Also, the floor board in the driver side has rusted through so that will need to be replaced. The hood IS included but not pictured, it's not bent or anything. It was just removed so I could get the engine/transmission out to get my other mustang running. It really doesn't look that bad on the outside but the interior will need a lot of work to make it look really good. The engine, transmission, wheels and drive shaft are not included in this auction. You will need to bring a trailer and your own wheels to load it up. The wheels aren't included because they don't belong to me. If you want to pay extra for the wheels on top of the auction I'd be happy to pass any offers onto the owner. It wouldn't let me leave mileage blank so I put a random number in. The car is rough, but it IS a 1967 Ford Mustang. This car could be beautiful with the right person working on it. Oh yea and I almost forgot to mention, the rear shocks are air shocks So you can raise/lower them with air pressure. They have been holding air with no leaks for a couple weeks of testing now! Thank you for looking and don't hesitate to ask any questions. On Sep-08-11 at 10:11:17 PDT, seller added the following information:I talked with the guy who owns the wheels and he wants $250. So that would be on top of the winning bid. That's optional, just be sure to bring your own wheels if you win and don't want to buy the current ones on it. Also, some of you have been asking about the engine. It came with a 289 and I have it. It is NOT locked but I don't know if it's in running condition or not. I'd count on a rebuild if you want it. I was going to sell it in a separate auction but since it's the original engine to this car if anyone would be willing to pay $200 for it you could have it all at once.On Sep-08-11 at 12:18:54 PDT, seller added the following information:People have been asking for pics of the underside of the car. I did my best during lunch. I uploaded them here: http://bit.ly/qIkpqKOn Sep-09-11 at 05:56:31 PDT, seller added the following information:For all the title questions, yes I have the title and there are no problems with it.
