1982 Honda 500 R 13,259 original miles Runs, Rides and Drives Perfertly !!! In 1979 I bought a brand new Honda XL500S, first year for the 500cc single 4 cycle and 23" front wheel. I've always had one of these big single cylinder Honda's lying around to ride and enjoy as they are very reliable and great on gas. It's time for me to pass this one on to the next owner along with a Husqvarna TE610 that I also have listed. This Honda is in great running condition and needs nothing prior to using. The tank has a few nicks and small scraps but no dents. Plastic is also good with no cracks and the seat has no tears or punctures. The left rear view mirror is cracked and should be replaced but I've always used a self sticking round expanded view mirror over the cracked one but its consistent with falling off after a few weeks. The turning signals all work as well as the horn and brake lights. The tool kit is missing but locking tool box still in good working condition. Bike is overall a little faded and will clean up nicely. Any one is more than welcome to inspect it and take it for a ride. Buyer is responsible for pick up and or shipping.
