Vehicle Detail
Rare sport bike for sale. If you want something unique and different from the crowd of cookie cutter Gixers and ZX's, this is your bike! Excellent physical and mechanical condition, Adult owned, always garage kept, never dropped, abused, stunted or raced, always professionally maintained. Considering the year, this bike is beyond excellent condition. You will be hard pressed to find an early Daytona in this kind of excellent condition outside of a display collection. This bike is a superior street bike will keep up with or out handle most Japanese bikes on the streets! The Triumph Daytona T595 is an extremely rapid, sweet rock solid handling sport bike and the big Triumph does have two real aces. The first is personality. And that counts for an awful lot, much more to most of us than shaving fractions of seconds off lap times. And this brawny Brit’s loaded with it. In the Daytona’s case much of it comes from the Triumph three cylinder engine’s rough charm. The second ace is it’s a bike which works better on real roads than it does on a racetrack. It’s slightly more stable and easy to use than the Japanese competition. The bike includes a high mount carbon fiber Triumph Factory Racing exhaust (showcases the single sided swing arm nicely), Mini markers, billet shock adjusters fender eliminator, carbon fiber rear hugger/chain guard, steel brake lines, billet foot pegs, MRA Gloss Black Spoiler-Screen windshield (accommodates both stock and riser handlebars), Corbin pilot saddle, factory passenger seat and factory seat cowl, which takes the place of the passenger seat when riding solo. Also included is a billet lowering link, which came with the bike from the last owner, still factory packed. Fuel system has been upgraded to billet connectors to replace the factory plastic fittings, which tend to crack and leak. The Bridgestone 020 tires were new half way through the season and still have good life left. Overall I'd give the bike a 9 out of 10. I don't think you'll can find a scratch or chip on the body work. The Lightning Yellow deep metal flake paint overall sparkles like new. I've had this bike since 2006, when I bought it from a classic car/bike collector with under 5k on it. I have personally put on all the miles since and it has been professionally maintained and cared for it's entire life. If you can't appreciate the Daytona for its looks or high tech design, you'll be won over once you ride the bike. Great big gobs of steaming power all the way from low revs to the top. The three cylinder engine does combine the best of the of a Ducati V twin and a Japanese inline 4: All the low end grunt of a twin, with all the top end rush of a 4, and the sound is like absolutely nothing else. It goes, it steers, it acts just like a real live sport bike should -- no excuses. Every time I get back on this bike I am quickly reminded of how much I like this bike. It is absolutely one of my top five favorite bikes, period. This is worth mentioning twice....nothing sounds like this bike, you can find numerous YouTube videos of this bike with the Triumph High Mount Racing Exhaust and they all fall short of the sound this bike makes in person, it sounds incredible, very deep. Unlike the Gixer or ZX's whose styling seems to get dated very fast, the styling of this bike never seems to get old, like the Ducati 916 it still looks fresh today and attracts huge amounts of attention, no one will believe this is not a current model year bike. Overall simply a rare combination of impressive performance, striking styling and three-cylinder character has made the Daytona the choice for the discerning rider. Powered by Triumph s potent fuel-injected engine - backed with plenty of torque. While the chassis, with its rigid tubular frame, exotic single sided swing arm and multi-adjustable front and rear suspension, marries responsiveness with stability. Unfortunately I find my self in a situation where I need to thin the herd, and this bike is not getting the road time it deserves, and I hope to find someone that will appreciate and ride this bike. This bike is ready to go and needs absolutely nothing. If you are looking for the epitome of high performance real-world road bikes with its breathtaking acceleration, astonishing smoothness and flexibility, secure and accurate handling and class-leading brakes, in a unique and exotic looking package, then the Daytona T595 just may be your next motorcycling love. Good Review if unfamiliar with this bike: http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/triumph/first-impression-1997-triumph-t595-daytona-16124.html Serious bids and inquiries only please. I reserve the right to end this auction early as it is for sale locally as well. This bike is still ridden on occasion so mileage may increase slightly from listed. NO TRADES - NO TEST RIDES!
