1973 Datsun 240z with 97,000 miles. This car is all original with 4-speed, factory air and matching engine numbers. This 240z runs great with very strong engine, the transmission shifts smoothly and is currently registered until April of 2012. No smog is ever needed for this car, it is smog exempt. I have been driving the car for the past month and it is drivable but does need some tlc. The car was sitting for about 3 years & the shocks are not great. The car does have some rust(pics), mainly on the back hatch, which I have a rust free replacement that just needs paint which is included. The floor boards are solid as is the rest of the car. There is some rust but its mainly surface except for a few inch area to the right of the rear hatch. I took pictures of the rusted areas, they are mainly cosmetic. The dash has 2 cracks, and a dash cover. The carpet is not great & the drivers seat has come apart at the top. . The pictures tell the condition fairly well.On Sep-07-11 at 14:51:45 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE! I have found 2 other issues not previously mentioned as I was not aware. Many of the rubber bushings need replacing(control arms, sway bars, and at least the rear differental mount if not more will need replacing. Next is in the new pictures I have added thanks to an interested ebay member who had me check the car a little closer. There is 1 spot under the car, around where the passenger seat is located where there is a hole about 3" x 2" from the rust. It was not actually a hole until I put my finger on it & it kind of flaked away, I removed the heavily damaged area(pic). That is the only real bad area I saw, but please check the pictures. Ok I am having trouble uploading the pics as I am at the maximum pics allowed. I will put some on & somehow work it out. My apoligies for the delay.
