It's been a reliable favorite ever since that 1947 Chevrolet truck.EngineThe engine has been completely rebuilt. It is the original straight 6 cylinder. Rebuilt radiator. All new wiring, hoses and belts. A custom split manifold was built that goes to straight exhaust.TransmissionThe truck has a T-5 Transmission with a long stick shift. All new internal parts.ExteriorBrand new Firestone 4 in whitewalls with chrome smoothies. The paint scheme is two tone black and silver. Its about 5 years old with minor scratches and dings. The bed is diamond plate. There is an external ten gallon gas tank. The rear bumper is custom. InteriorThe dash is color coordinated with the paint scheme as well as the custom leather seat cover. There is no radio, air conditioner, or speedometer. The original heater is installed but I havent tried to turn it on. The starting mechanism is the original which is the floor start. You insert the key turn it to initiate the fuel pump and push the floor starter. The engine still has a choke for cold starting. Chassis The truck was switched from a 6 lug to a 5 lug for increased highway speeds. All new custom leaf springs and shocks for a slightly lowered look and smooth ride. Condition Overall the truck mechanics are solid and the engine starts up first time every time. Known issues: Small scratch on right rear passenger cab. Fixed dent on right rear fender with missing paint. Small scratch on right passager door. Scratched paint on left rear fender. No speedometer. No radio.
