i am selling my 1976 jeep cj5. i just bought this jeep a couple of months ago and just don't have the time to work on it. it is an original 304v8 with a 4 speed. the motor runs great and it drives good as well. four wheel drive works good. the guy that had it before me replaced the radiator, water pump and clutch. The rear end is locked, someone welded the spider gears together in the diff, but i have a replacement rear end out of an older jeep that is in good condition. the front tie rod is worn out but i have a used replacement, as well as several other parts. the leaf spring have been put over the axel, so it sits higher than stock. the front two tires as bfg mud terrains and have some life left in them, it needs a couple rear tires to match. Body wise, this jeep is in pretty good condition, aside from small rust spots, the only bad spot is the passenger floor pan which is completely rusted through, but is an easy fix with a replacement pan for around 40$ it has a heavy duty front and rear bumper and a tailgate. gauges all work. the rear driveshaft is not the original, it was fabricated by someone but it works, i would recommend getting a new one made or purchasing one. the front windshield needs to be replaced, but it still flips down. any other questions just email me or call 803-727-6202. had some trouble uploading pictures so i can email some more.
