Autobahn Auto in Hampton, Virginia is proud to present this clean 1992 Mercedes Benz 190E to you for auction. A few things up front, we kept the reserve very low, however we have the car locally for sale on our lot and you are welcome to make as an offer. I wont hesitate to end the auction early if I like your offer. We purchased the car directly from our long live customer who had the 190 serviced and repaired with us for as long as Autobahn Auto has been in business. That means nobody but us touched the car since 1994, when we opened our doors in Hampton. If needed, we could pull years and years worth of repair orders for this very car. As far as I know, this 190E is a one owner car. It could be they bought her slightly used, but as long as we've known the car, she was always owned by the same folks. Our customer moved up to a newer C-class a few months ago, at this point they kept the 190 as a second car until the inspection became due. In other words, we were told months ago that they would not attempt to have the repairs done required for the VA State Inspection and that we could purchase the car if interested, at that point. We did and here is a list of items we replaced just two weeks ago. 1. Brand new Interstate battery 2. Brand new blower motor 3. Brand new hood pad 4. Brand new front brake hoses 5. Replaced both headlight surrounds with brand new ones. 6. Completely flushed the brake fluid 7. Changed and oil filter. (Castrol 20W50) 8. New oil filler cap. The AC blows cold, the transmission shifts fine and the engine runs great, despite the mileage. All four windows work flawlessly, so is the sunroof and power door locks. The tires are marginal however they passed VA, State Inspection. The paint has seen better days. We attempted to buff the paint, but couldn't return a deep shine. She looks okay unless you look up close. There is no real shine in some areas. The 190 Does NOT come with any kind of Warranty, however she can be driven any length and we consider her very reliable. If you like to travel to us and drive her home, we will be happy to give you a lift from the airport and set you up with a transport plate or 30-day tags.
