1965 Chevelle Malibu Super Sport two door hardtop. Real 138 VIN SS 4 speed car. Car was given a frame on restoration in 2005 and has seen approximately 5000 miles of use since. Originally a California car (Fremont plant), the car was stripped prior to paint. Its original panels were repaired and straightened. All of the sheet metal is original with repair panels installed on the lower quarters and trunk floor. Code CC ermine white from the factory, the car was painted 2005 Mustang yellow. The interior is trim code 714, black with bucket seats. The interior door panels, seat covers , headliner, visors, weatherstrip, sill plates and carpet have been replaced. The car now has 66 Chevelle front seats . A fresh 350 four bolt main TDJ block resides in the space originally occupied by a 300 horse 327. The car retains its original numbers matching M20 wide ratio Muncie four speed and CW code 12 bolt 3:31 rear differential. A posi unit has been added to the original open rear end. Several "resto mod" touches added by the owner include 15" rallye wheels with BFG T/A radials, Power disc brakes, gauges, Hurst shifter, headers with 2 1/2" exhaust and 40 series flowmasters. Fully documented with original trim tag, vin tag , protect-o-plate, and owner history, this Chevelle can be enjoyed as built or returned to stock. Runs , drives , sounds and looks great!
