Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE. Very nice 1996 Buick Roadmaster station wagon with 92000 original miles, runs and drives excellently. I am its third owner, purchased in 2006 with 81000 miles and driven summers only, stored winters indoors, while under my ownership. This wagon's original black paint still shows a nice shine, but also shows some minor scratches and stone chips after 15 years of driving. The left rear quarter panel shows a few bubbles of rust way down low where the body panel curves under the car, but there are no rust holes (see close-up photo). As for the rest of the body panels on the car, there is no sign of rust, including particularly rust-prone areas such as the right rear quarter panel, the tailgate door sill area ahead of the rear bumper, and at the bottom of the roof support pillars between the front and rear passenger doors on each side of the car (see close-up photos). All body panels are original and very straight, and this wagon has no accidents in its history. The undercarriage/frame/floorboards are generally coated with a light-medium layer of rust... nothing extreme or severe. Burgundy interior is super clean and features comfortable cloth seats along with nice carpets, dashboard, door panels, and headliner. No stains anywhere and no foul odors. There is a hole poked through the fabric on the left side of the driver's seat (visible in photo), which was there when I purchased the car and has not grown larger in the 5 years I have owned the car. During my ownership, I have always had covers over the front seats to save the fabric from wear and tear and keep it clean. Features on this wagon include automatic climate control, cold air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM stereo radio, power antenna, tilt steering column, cruise control, 2-way tailgate. Everything works as it should. This Roadmaster wagon is still equipped with its original engine, a fuel-injected LT1 5.7L 350-V8, which always starts instantly and runs excellently. Engine compartment is clean and tidy. On a highway trip, this car will achieve 25 mpg, very good gas mileage for a large car with a V8. Transmission is an automatic overdrive, which operates as it should and shifts smoothly in all foward gears and reverse. This wagon has an excellent set of four whitewall tires mounted on the original 15" factory alloy wheels. Tread depth is excellent with no uneven wear patterns. As mentioned earlier, body panels are original and very straight on this car, but there are a few minor blemishes that should be pointed out. There is a light scrape on the left side of the front bumper, where the bumper wraps around the side of the car, down low and just ahead of the left front wheelwell opening (see close-up photo). There is also a 4" vertical crack in the soft bumper cover at the left corner of the rear bumper (see close-up photo, disregard the reflections). These were both present when I bought the car. I'm sure you can find several other blemishes on the exterior of the car which are not noticeable unless you look hard for them. Despite the "blemishes", which have been pointed out as a matter of honesty and full disclosure, please remember that overall this is still a clean, straight, well-preserved, good-looking 15 year old Roadmaster wagon. It runs and drives excellently, and is comfortable and tight. It tracks smoothly straight down the road with no wandering left or right, and the power brakes bring it to a quick, safe, straight-line stop. It has been trouble-free for me during my 5-year ownership. I have tried to describe this car as accurately and honestly as possible to the best of my knowledge... please remember, it is a used car and is not perfect, and I have tried to highlight its major points in my description. If you feel I have omitted something or if you have any questions, feel free to click on "Ask a question" above or call me at (262) 797-9736. This 1996 Buick Roadmaster wagon has a clear Wisconsin title in my name. Car is used and is sold "as is", no warranties, no guarantees. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for any reason. Winning bidder is to submit $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end, remaining balance due in 7 days. Transport of this vehicle is the responsibility of the winning bidder and is not included in the winning bid. I will help with your transport plans as best I can. Car runs and drives fine and I would not hesitate to jump in and drive it to any location in the USA. Thank you for viewing my auction. P.S.... It should be mentioned, the 2 cross bars for the roof rack are not on the wagon as seen in the photos, but I do have them and they are included with the car.
