Please don't confuse a Burgman with a regular scooter. With the fuel injected 650cc engine they will embarass many motorcycles and cars at a stop light. They are very impressive machines, combining the acceleration and comfort of a touring motorcycle with the convenience, fuel economy and ease of use of a scooter. Scooter This bike is a 2004 Suzuki Burgman 650 Scooter. The Burgman has a 650 class, EFI, engine with a fully automatic transmission. They are big and roomy as scooters go, making them very comfortable for two riders, but they are still much more compact and agile than a touring motorcycle. The Scooter has a fully automatic transmission, full lights, electric start, electronic fuel injection, digital gauges and will literally last forever. In addition, if you prefer shifting gears yourself you can change modes and it will allow you to change gears manually by simply pushing a thumb button on the handlebar. It also has a button you can push to engage the "power" mode for increased acceleration and performance. On top of all this it has fully adjustable backrests, 3 glove sompartments and a huge storage area under the seat. Yes you can get a cheaper scooter without the name brand but I promise you will regret it. We are a full service dealer and we see people every day trying to find parts and service for the two week old scooter they bought at a flea market. Trust me, whether you buy this one or not, just buy a good one with a name you have heard of. Among even high-end scooters, the Suzuki Berman and Honda Silver Wing are a cut above, in terms of both performance and comfort. This bike is 100% stock and unmolested. Condition This scooter is in excellent condition. It was purchased new locally by a mature lady who simply did not ride it much. It has not been wreck or laid down and is in excellent condition. It has only 3654 original miles on it and it has been very lightly used. It is in perfect mechanical condition and is completely ready to ride. We took it in on trade for an ATV and have just completely service it inlcuding a tune up and oil change. The tires are excellent also, it needs nothing. Appearance wise it looks great. It does have a few minor rock chips and such but no actual damage. We are starting the bid at $100 and there is no reserve. These scooters sell new for nearly $10,000. No reserve and no “buy it now”. As for transaction details, we are located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington KY and 75 South of Cincinnati, OH. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you are a KY resident you will have to pay 6% sales tax upon pickup. KY residents will also pay a $99 documentation fee and receive a 30 day tag, and we will process their title but must have proof of insurance. Residents of the following states will have to pay sales tax if you pick this machine up in person: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina, and Washington. We do not collect sales tax from residents of any other state or country. If we ship it to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may have to pay sales tax in your home state. We don't require a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV/Motorcycle shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees.
