Purchased brand new in Longmont, CO and has lived there ever since. Colorado is very dry so this truck has never had any rust. Only 52,000 Original Miles! Truck went through a full, $15K cosmetic restoration over a 4 year period about 7 years ago. During the restoration the following was done (Documentation included) 1. Truck was taken down to bare metal, sanded, primed and painted fire engine red. 2. The original, numbers matching, 289 V8 was rebuilt and only has 8,000 miles since. 3. Transmission, Differential, Locking Hubs all gone trough and rebuilt. 4. New carpet interior with reupholstered seats. 5. Restored hard top with new glass, framing, etc. (Top is near perfect) 6. New weather stripping. 7. Custom Diamond Platting added in engine compartment, tailgate, etc. (No...there is NOT rust behind them). 8. Re-Chromed bumpers 9. Three speed converted to floor 10. Hurst Shifter 11. Fender Flares More recently, the truck has had the following done: 1. New brakes 2. New Michelin 31 10-50 Tires (Cost $600) 3. New custom CD / Ipod stereo (Dash NOT modified and factory radio still there) 4. New Rancho Shocks 5. Fresh repack on the 4x4 system (works excellent) 6. Carb rebuilt and new fuel pump 7. Both wheels cylinders replaces 8. New Battery 9. New Aluminum Running Boards This truck has the original 289 motor, chassis, etc. The rebuilt motor fires right up and runs great. Truck is near perfect. There is no rust, bondo, scratches, dents, dings (well one pen tip size ding on fender as seen in picture), etc. Truck has never been wheeled and only driven around town.
