This is a no reserve auction. The high bidder at the end of 7 days is the new owner of this beautiful car. I do have it for sale locally so feel free to call 937-935-6178 before 2p.m. Up for sale is my 1966 Ford Thunderbird Landau. This car runs and looks excellent and is powered by its original 390 4V V8. The title is free, clear, and in hand. This Thunderbird had always been kept in inside storage. It has a power seat, power locks, factory Swing Away steering wheel, a fresh tune up, and a beautiful original white top. Please take a close look at all the pics, this is basically a show car. The car rides excellent. Most people say rides great for the year but I'm saying "rides like a new car". The brakes work excellent, and engine doesnt smoke, leak, or do anything strange. The tires are original style byas-ply and do have some weather checking on the sides but the tread is great. A few items to mention are the gas guage doesn't read over quarter tank. It works normal from quarter to empty. Also, there is a crack in the drives door interior pull handle and a few areas of very light ware in the drivers seat. The A/C works but needs a charge. Ford is interested in putting together a package of information and photos of this car due to its colorful early history. This Thunderbird was ordered by Ford Motor Company Transportation Services in 1965 as a new 1966. The DSO 89 marking indicates that this car was used for auto shows and commercials only insted of being sold to the general public. At the end of the 66 model year, the car was sold and the rest is history.
