Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1983 Honda Shadow I have done a lot of work on this bike. It has fresh Professional grade paint and clear coat made for vehicles. I will try to describe it thoroughly but ask questions because the top bidder will own it as is. You are welcome to come out and check it out in Hubert, NC. Call 910-four seven eight-5454 that is my cell and if I don't answer leave a message and I will call back. This is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I have 100% positive feedback and want to keep it that way so understand that I will try to describe this as best as I can but I recommend you come and see it. No Reserve, anything 500 or more takes this bike. It runs great. Go to You tube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kK3lkLOxHyw , and part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUUxIW2NpiA&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL Fresh new paint that looks good. Not professional but good. You can see some imperfection but it still looks very good and was done with very quality materials. I attempted to get the imperfection in pictures but it wont even show up in the photo. It has some tiny dimples, and some small runs that when looking closely is visible. I have showed it to many people that have asked me to paint there motorcycles so I think it must be my goal of perfection more than a problem. If you are concerned come see the bike in person. Some gas bubbles that were sealed with the clear coat, on the fender under the frame bars that are sealed and you can not see without taking the seat off. New seat cover. Carbs rebuilt. Runs great. In the video you can hear a little popping and that is just the carbs are out of sync but since then I have tuned them together, and the bike is running even better. All gears work great. Rear tire is good but the front tire needs to be replaced. It rides smooth, but I have only rode to about 40-45 mph in the development. I bought a pile of parts, including a old parts bike. Stripped what needed to be replaced, painted it and made it run well. It could be a very fun bike that gets somewhere around the 50 mpg mark depending on your driving habits. It has power and is pretty much the same motorcycle as the Ascot that was made during the same year. I think it is just different body parts, and maybe forks. This is a shaft drive motorcycle, The forks have been cleaned up very well, but still have some pitting, I have cleaned them and put some wax on them to seal them up. All of the pitting has been smoothed out. Now the only bad thing, I don't have a title as i put this together from parts. I will give you a bill of sale and the bill of sale from when I bought it. I have checked this thing every way I can think of attempting to find any record of this bike, and I have come up short. There are no records of this motorcycle anywhere. I did however, find an old sticker on the forks from Missouri for an inspection that was done in 2000. I didn't buy a car fax because there are no records so I didn't waste the money. Reading online, I saw that people can take two bills of sale to the dmv and get it registered in NC. UPDATE !@##@$%#@% READ THIS $#!@#%$#@$!% I have changed the minimum back to the original 500. Now if I can figure out exactly who the last titled owner was (which I think I have but maybe not) You the winning bidder will get the title with the bike. If I cant, then you will not get the title. I don't know if I will be able to get the title. I will however not be messing with the price anymore and you bid on it what you think its worth. You may end up with the title and you might not. If i dont get it resolved, and dont find out either way before the bike is sold, I will give you the name and number that I have where my search has ended. It may be a dead end and it may be the title. %$@#$!#%$#@#^%##@#@$%^# Given all of this, I am selling it as parts that make a complete running motorcycle. This means that I cant guarantee that you will be able to title it in your state. This is for you to figure out. If it doesn't sell I am going to begin the process of getting it titled in NC and the reserve will go up. Again this is Parts that are put together and I am not going to disassemble the bike. I will not sell pieces of it either so dont ask. You are required to arrange either shipping or pickup i will help load it and will help deliver locally for a small fee (price depends on how local) Obviously if I have bids that are more than 500 I will no longer be selling it locally because my reserve will have been met and I will already have sold the bike, but I wont know until the auction ends who the new owner is. On Sep-05-11 at 13:05:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I have got a front tire that has good tread that I will have installed and add to the bike if the auction goes over 525 and you want it. On Sep-05-11 at 13:31:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I havent Been successful in getting the title and the lead that i had ended up being a different bike. There will be no title for this bike at this time.
