Vehicle Detail
This has been a garage kept car with minimal winter driving. A family member not authorized (by insurance company) drove this car into a ditch to avoid an accident. The accident was avoided but the ditch, tree and fence won the battle. Insurance estimated this to be $5,000 to total loss. As the pictures show, the engine and transmission are solid. Right front fender wall is pushing into the serpentine belt area which is causing contact between the pulleys and fender. No liquids were discharged due to the accident. Regular maintenance has been performed per manual. The drivers door and passenger door are 100% intact with no flaws. All glass, convertible top is in excellent condition. Right front fender, left rear fender, hood and trunk are damaged. Left rear wheel assembly is turned sideways (see picture). It appears that the front end (front wheels) are out of whack. The car starts and moves. Interior of the car was recently detailed. All gauges, air conditioning, top, power windows, am/fm, cd, cassette and trip computer all work. No body rust, only surface discoloring where paint removed from accident. This car is being sold AS IS. It WILL NOT BE PARTED OUT (so don't ask). I have the clean title (registration). Car is located in Northern Illinois, between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI. Seller will not ship. Buyer is reponsible for shipping. Cash or certified check before car is released. Seller has the right to cancel this auction at any time as this vehicle is also for sale locally.
