I have up for sale this time is a 1940 oldsmobile coupe streetrod! I'm listing this for friend of mine. If you have any questions on this car contact me & I will call him & get more info for you! The car is painted 1987 porsche red.It is powered by a 406 SB with a 292 cam, 202 valves, roller rockers & a gear drive.I'm estamating 6000 miles on the motor & that's on the high side. The trans is a 350 turbo with a 3500 stall. The car has a linelock hooked up also. 4 link coil over rear suspension with a ford 9 in with 470 gears & 31 spline axles. The front is simular to a mustang 2 . The frame & suspension was done here by a well know fabricator named Frank Burrell in 1987.The car still has the full 12pt cage in the car! As you can see in the pics it has race buckets & the driver has an outdated 5 point harness.Rear tires are 33x19.5x15 Mickey Thompson M/T the fronts are Mickey Thompson Sportsmans 28x750x15 & the tires are still like new! These are mounted on matching Centerline Rims. The car is starting to show sighs of rust in the right rear (frt) of fender & left side door (frt) side of door. The rockers are starting to blister a little bit also. That's the only bad part of this car. In 1987 the cars was bought by another friend of mine from his fatherinlaw & was made into a Drag car at that time to go to the track abought 5 to 6 times a year. In 1992 my other buddy bought it & put the small block in it and drove it on the street to differant cars shows.For the past 6 yrs it comes out 1 time a yr to just to take a spin in it & it goes back in the garage! I have the right to end this auction early because is also listed in other adds!
