Nice 1964 El Camino! In great condition for this year! Solid! Clean inside and out! Runs great! Engine has lots of chrome! Also has power steering, and front disc brakes! A fun classic to own! I was told this is the original engine to this El Camino, although I have not verified this. In researching this year of El Camino, I found that 1964 was the first year that the 327 was offered; two versions were available: the 250hp or 300hp. The 1964, 327/300hp engine featured a compression rate of 10.5:1, had a larger 4-barrel carb, and dual exhaust. This Elky's engine has camel hump heads, Edelbrock carb and intake, HEI distributor, 8mm plug wires, and a new alternator, new hoses, and more! This engine has a lot of chrome including: chrome valve covers, chrome air breather, chrome oil spout & top, chrome timing cover and marker, and chrome power steering pump brackets! Has dual exhaust! This El Camino has plenty of power and doesn’t burn oil! The transmission is a turbo 350 that was just rebuilt! Shifts smooth! Has automatic floor shifter! Exterior: The body is solid and straight; in nice condition for this year! The floor pans and frame rails are rust free, and she has a solid bed! Bed has 1” rubber matting (not in pictures), and has a locking, hard top tonneau cover! All glass is good! All chrome trim is there and in great shape! Bumpers and grill are in great shape! Newer Goodyear tires! Factory steel rally rims with Chevrolet scribed center caps! Interior: Interior is in nice condition! No rips or tears in anything! Dash is solid, no cracks, and is not cut up!
