The Crossfire was built for Daimier Chrysler by Kamann in Germany. It utilized a complete Mercedes drivetrain including a 3.2 liter, 18 valve, SOHC, and aluminum engine manual transmission,differential, suspension, brakes, etc. The Crossfire is actually a Mercedes 320 SL/SLK with a showcar body and interior designed by Chrysler. I purchased this car for my wife's 60th birthday. As it turn out she prefers to drive her 1999 Jaquar. I personally think its a great little car and a blast to drive. It has a wonderful exhaust sound. The car is in perfect condition top to bottom.
