This vehicle was given to my step-daughter, by her grandfather, to sell so she could pay some college loans. It was kept in a garage, during the time he owned it, and is currently in my garage. The car was registered and driven in 2009. It was driven on a 300 mile road trip without a problem. I charged the battery, and after finding the choke, it started right up. I towed it to my garage, by chain, and the brakes were functional, then. After sitting in garage for a week, the brake fluid was low, and brakes are now sketchy. This vehicle has not been sitting out in the grass, so it is not all rusted up underneath. The brake problem is minimal. Motor runs strong. I drove it up my street and back, and shifted into all gears. They all seem normal. Tires and exhaust are good. Vehicle shows 55005 on odometer, but speedometer was not working when I drove it. All other gauges , including the tach are working. Radio is missing. Console panels are in the trunk, as is an ignition switch cover, and other parts, springs, belts, new feul pump, and numerous documents. The convertible top is good, plastic windows are not cracked or broken, and I believe it can be latched down. There are a few grommets on the outer cover that are broken. My friend is a British car guy. He looked at the car, and said it was once wrecked on right front side, but the inner hood area and frame were in good condition. This car can be used as a driver, with very little work (brakes), or it can be restored. There is one chrome wheel ring missing, and the car has had some body work.
