NEW - This should not be considered a numbers matching original car. To the best of my knowledge, Ford never built a 427 Galaxie Convertible in 1965. This car started being modified about 45 yrs ago. This should be considered a Hot Rod. According to the Vin #, the car was built in Kentucky and sold in Memphis, TN as a 390/ 4 Barrel, stick shift car in Dark Green. There is not a spot of green to be found on this car. Regarding the 427 motor; these engines can be very difficult to identify and some are more difficult than others and I am NOT the person to figure it out. For anyone that would like to inspect the car I am happy to show it by appointment. I purchased the car as a 427 from a car guy who also purchased it as a 427. I can tell you that it runs VERY STRONG is quite loud and has gobs of torque. I can only verify that the car is a solid Southern car that is mechanically sound and incredible to drive. It will make an awesome prize to the right person.
