1969 International Scout 800a Aristocrat for sale. Only 5000 of this model were made, and 2500 were sent to Austrailia. Scout was originally from Texas and had been stored in a barn in CT for years before I bought it. Previous owner ran it periodically over the years but it had not been on the road since 1981. Purchased the scout last year and had the front seats redone, put a 4 inch suspension lift in with all new springs shocks and hardware, and had the carb rebuilt. Also installed dual exhaust, but it needs the 2 tailpipes to run out the back. Currently its registered and being driven daily. Scout is all original besides the paint and the lift. No body work has been done to it to my knowledge, and overall the body is in good condition, with a couple minor rust spots and dents. It has the 304 V-8 with a 3 speed manual transmission. Hard top is in good condition, with original aristocrat chrome roof rack. Have complete plow package, and extra set of steel wheels with m/s tires. Currently has original chrome wheels that came on the aristocrat packaged scouts, with a 5th wheel and tire for the spare. Copy of the original line set ticket comes with it showing all of the options this particular scout came with. Have over $6000 invested in it so far, and just don't have the time or money to finish it. Please serious bidders only. Cash due at time of pickup.
