This is my 1974 MG Midget, It has been in my family since 1977. It was originally purchased by a Hillsdale Collage Professor. The car has always been stored indoors, never been out in the winter, and rarely driven in the rain. I am selling it because of a storage space issue. The vehicle has always been maintained in the highest regard. The suspension was gone thru in the mid eighty when all the bushings and springs were upgraded, the shocks were also rebuilt at that time. It was repainted in original color in 1988. The paint has a few scratches (minor) but still looks great overall. The engine was pulled and rebuilt in 1998 and the engine compartment was repainted at that time. Also during the rebuild, the dual carbs were removed and a single two barrel carb was installed for drivability. The ignition was also replaced with a Mallory high performance model (all original parts are included). The rear end has a small leak in 2010 so it was completely gone thru, and the trans was serviced by John Twist at University Motors. The tires were purchased in 2008 and are still in very good condition. The roof is in good condition, although it is showing a litte age, and the windows are yellowing a bit. Also included but not pictured; a fitted car cover, and the Tonneau cover. This vehicle runs and drives great, it gets a lot of looks and you will have a great time with it!
