1986 Honda Rebel

hi there up for bids is a awesome 1986 honda cmx 450c rebel . i am selling this for my dad. this bike is used obviously , but in like new condition . bike has just over 400 miles on it . thats right not 4,000 ---400. bike has always been garaged and had yearly maintenance on it whether it needed it or not . bike is similar to dads fiero i am selling . bike appears to be hermetically sealed in a plastic bag and barely ridden . my dad was really fussy , more like obsessive about keeping this bike in state that he bought it . great bike for a new rider / starter bike .i took several pics that dont do it justice . the pipes do have some blueing at the exhaust outlets . this happened just after he bought it , you may be able to clean it off with polish from a bike shop , the honda emblem has microscopic marks around it but you have to look really close to see them for its age this bike is almost perfect . you will be hard pressed to find another 450 rebel like this . was just serviced a week ago at the honda dealer . i thing the gas tank is a 85rebel tank . story behind the tank is my dad wanted the tank to say rebel on it so he bought it new just after he bought the bike. the leather saddlebags are included . he does have the original tank new in box i can offer it for sale if you wish , please e-mail with any questions or call me at my shop 440-918-7700 or my dad 216-486-5276 cell no is 440-413-9915 . bike is in willoughby ohio stop by to check it out ,definately no disappointments if you buy pictures are of bike up for bid taken in my shop . let me know if you need more pics . have a great day On Aug-25-11 at 15:42:34 PDT, seller added the following information: my dad came over the shop today and polished the bike up . . i noted in the listing that there were small imperfections on the honda emblem on the front forks . turns out theye were just water spots and they cleaned right off as did all other chrome on the bike . this is prob the cleanest 450 rebel you will ever find .again i have the original tank that came off the bike its new . winning bidder can purchase it if interested . i also have a nice cover that winning bidder can purchase if wanted -i think its a factory cover .. thanks feel free to call 440-918-7700 or my cell no 440-413-9915 .
