1928 early 50's Traditional roaster. It's in the style of the early 50's rod with some modern parts to increase reliability and livability. This is a traditional style hotrod, minimal chrome, some comfort, its not a billet or rat rod at all. Its a fully running, sorted rod. The title/VIN was inspected by the CHP when it was brought into the state by the previous owner! Title in hand. Body · Brookville steel body, earlier stamping. · 50-55’ Porsche Polar Silver paint, light pearl, · Semi-gloss gray on frame. · Smallish dent on rear driver’s panel, Engine: · 1952 Mercury Flathead 255, · 3 original Stromberg 97's, (Running on single center currently) · Edlebrock heads, · Offy manifold, · MAX-1 ¾ Isky cam, · Manly pistons, · Original Motometer · Sampson coated headers · GMC Bubba Chevy distributor (Buy one now if you don’t have one already) · 3 inch bolt dumps off headers · 1300 miles on a total rebuild. · Converted to 12 volt system. · New internal in original Starter · Recored 28 Radiator, original shell chromed. Drive Train · 1934 trans · 41 Ford F100 brakes. · 56 Ford Column (F100) · Real 36 wheels (powder coated, chrome trim ring’s) · Firestone 6 ply tires. (~700 miles) · 39 Banjo rear 3.54 Gear. · Battery and fuel cell are in the rumble seat compartment. · Hydraulic clutch. · Rear shocks with 7 spring roadster setup. Car has 7 additional leaves to increase height in rear not spring rate. · 40's Ford Lever Shocks on Front of car. · 5 Spring front end with cast 4 inch lower, modified knuckles. Known problems · Needs new shackle’s (On order) · Temp sender does not work, clock does not work · Rumble seat needs a latch. · Leaks its a Flathead they all leak trust me. · Brake cylinder leaked at one point and stripped paint around the pedals.
