Up For Sale is my 1997 Cadillac Seville STS It is in very good shape for the year, the interior is clean for the most part, there are some marks and wear areas on the carpet and seats but nothing major. The worst thing would be a tear in the door pull (see picture) it has all of the usual things you would find in a car of this year. The exterior is really as nice as the interior, no major dings, dents, or scratches to speak of, the body has virtually no rust although there is a very small spot on the rear fender on the passenger side and a surface spot on the hood (see pictures), the paint still glistens in the sun. It has the very powerful Northstar V8 that still get great fuel mileage. Mechanically it is sound although there was one issue when we parked it after buying a new car, the alternator stopped working, I took it to a shop to have it tested and they recommended rebuilding or replacing the alternator. The car will start and run for a while if the battery has a full charge, but it will eventually run out of power. The estimate for the parts for this repair is very reasonable, around $150.00 It passed PA Emissions inspection last year and has no service engine lights or anything that would keep it from passing this year. It will need to be towed or taken by trailer to its new home in since there isn't a way that you could drive more than 30 miles without the alternator. All oil changes and maintenance was done as scheduled. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. You will not find another car in this year and mileage that is this well cared for, if you fix the alternator, it will take you everywhere you want to go. I have tried to explain the condition of this vehicle as accurately as possible. You are encouraged to have it inspected BEFORE the auction ends, as there will be no negotiations after the sale.
