You are bidding on a solid old Benz that runs well and is in good shape mechanically. She does need some attention as she has been sitting a couple of years. The tires are good enough for now but will need to be replaced soon. All the records for the car since new are in order and available with the purchase. The car is my father's which he purchased used in Dallas, TX. where the car was originally sold new. He loved this car and had plans of refurbishing it completely over time but his health failed and he had to move in with me in Missouri (where the car is now). As you can see from the pictures, the interior needs some work and the paint is a bit rough but there is no rust. The engine runs great and starts right up, however, it seems struggle for fuel till warmed up which was not the case when he moved here. That said, I would feel fairly safe in saying it is drivable over the road and you should not have any problems should you chose to drive it home. Some of the projects my father was working on when things went bad with his health are; the power driver's seat needs a new switch, some of the wood trim has been removed to be re-glued, the A/C and heat are not working now but a used climate control module comes with the car (along with several other spare parts), the front passenger side and rear drivers side windows are not working, and the front seat pans need new leather covers. Functionally, the car will get you where you are going...it just needs some work to get everything back working and looking good. I'll need $100.00 ernest money via PayPal when you win the auction and the remainder within 14 days or at the time of pick-up if sooner.
