THIS T-BIRD WAS BOUGHT NEW IN CALIFORNIA AND WAS ONLY A WEEKEND DRIVER/TOY FOR THE ORIGINAL OWNER. THE ORIGINAL OWNERS BROTHER PURCHASED THE CAR AWHILE BACK WHEN IT CAME TO ARIZONA. I STUMBLED ACROSS THIS RIDE WHILE LISTING CLASSIC CARS ON EBAY FOR THE BROTHER. HE IS A RETIRED GENTLEMAN WITH WAYYY TO MANY TOYS TO PLAY WITH. I PULLED THE CAR COVER BACK AND FELL IN LOVE WITH ITS' STOCK, EXTRA CLEAN CONDITION. THIS CAR HAS ZERO RUST. NOT ONE SCREW EVEN HAS SURFACE RUST PERIOD. IT HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED, PAINTED OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY. THE MILES ARE ORIGINAL AND IT IS OBVIOUS FROM CLOSE INSPECTION THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN ABUSED. I HAVE ALL ORIGINAL MANUALS, WARRANTY CARDS, FLOOR MATS, BOOKS AND A FEW EXTRA PARTS. IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS THE CAR HAS HAD ALL NEW BELTS AND HOSES INSTALLED AND YES THE TIMING BELT WAS DONE AS WELL. I HAVE A $900 RECEIPT IN HAND FOR THE EXHAUST THAT WAS INSTALLED IN JULY OF THIS YEAR. THE A/C BLOWS ICE COLD AND THE ENGINE NEVER GETS HOT EVEN WHILE DRIVING IN ARIZONAS 110+ HEAT. THIS CAR WAS WAY AHEAD OF ITS' TIME IN 1988. THE SEATS, UPHOLSTERY, CARPET AND HEADLINER ARE ALL IN GREAT SHAPE AS IS THE BODY AND PAINT. CAR TURNS HEADS. YOU NEVER SEE THEM IN THIS UNTOUCHED CONDITION. I WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH THE PICS. CAR LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON. I PERSONALLY DROVE THIS CAR FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS AND FOUND THE FOLLOWING: POWER DOOR LOCKS ARE INOPERABLE (COULD BE A FUSE, NEVER LOOKED) THE REAR TILT POSITION ON THE DRIVER SEAT MAKES A GEAR SKIPPING NOISE THE POWER ANTENNA IS BEING HELD UP AND IS NO LONGER AUTOMATIC 3 SMALL BURNS EXIST ON DRIVERS DOOR UPHOLSTERY SECTION BUT KNOWHERE ELSE AND THE CAR DOES NOT SMELL OF SMOKE THE DASH HAS 2 VERY SMALL CRACKS BENEATH THE DASH COVER BOOST GUAGE SOMETIMES DOES NOT WORK (THE TURBO WAS REMOVED TWICE IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS AND BENCH TESTED WITH NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT) SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF FOR NO KNOWN REASON, CAR ALWAYS RUNS FINE, MAY HAVE TO MUCH EXHAUST ON IT CAUSING A BACK PRESSURE PROBLEM?? ABS LIGHT GOES ON AND OFF EVERY BLUE MOON BUT HAVE HAD THE ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM CHECKED AND FORD CANNOT FIND A PROBLEM BOTH FOG LIGHTS WORK BUT HAVE MINOR ROCK CHIP CRACKS OUTER EDGES OF FRONT SEAT BOLSTER HAVE BEEN (BENT) OUT ABIT SEE PICS IT IS VERY HARD TO WEED THROUGH THE B.S. ON EBAY. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING OTHER ADS ON COMPLETE JUNK WITH HOW NICE THE CAR IS WRITE-UPS. I'M NOT THAT GUY. I HAVE INFORMED YOU OFF ABSOLUTELY EVERY LAST DETAIL I KNOW ABOUT THE CAR. I AM SELLING IT WITH NO RESERVE. TO BE QUITE HONEST I AM NOT VERY HIP ON 4 CYL TURBOS. IF THE CAR HAD A V8 I WOULD PROBABLY KEEP IT. I SEE ALOT OF GUYS DOING 302 CONVERSIONS WHICH I THINK WOULD BE REALLY GREAT AND NOT TO HARD TO DO.
