1973 "Verona Red" BMW 2002. Non-tii model. Includes new (4 weeks old) Recaro seats that have been re-upholstered and re-strapped, Panasport wheels with tons of rubber left, newly installed Sony stereo with dual voice coil single speaker in original console (Ipod friendly), newly installed speedometer cable. Car is in great shape. The motor is clean and runs strong, but it has over 100k miles on it and will eventually need the valves re-seated. For those who don't know what that means, the cylinder head could probably use a rebuild, but has not given me ANY problems - the only issue (which is common for these high-mileage M10 motors) is that it puffs a little smoke on quick decelerations. Has upgraded Weber 32/36 carburetor. Has 320i radiator (for increased cooling capabilities). Previous owner installed new pads and rebuilt calipers on the front. Paint is bubbling is some spots (wheel arches, passenger quarter panel), and there is a small rust hole on driver side rocker panel. Replacement sheet metal (wheel arch repair kit, rocker panels for both sides) are included. Paint is faded on the hood, roof, and trunk. Chrome is in great shape with absolutely no rust. I bought the vehicle from an older gentleman who did a thorough refreshing of the car to bring it in the shape its in today. I've driven it maybe 500 miles in the 3 years that I've owned it. It's time to move onto another project.
