Vehicle Detail
Hello, I have up for auction a really nice 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer. Its in really good shape but as with all collectors cars it has a few needs. So here we go with both the good and the not so bads......Needs to have the tub(bed floor) repaired & left rockerbox replaced(not rockerpanels). Needs minor body work. There is no rust on the body panels as I have replaced the doors with OEM used doors & the inner, outer & front section of quarter panels have been replaced. Its in primer, the primer is a light gray & actually looks like its been painted. I have put POR 15 on the welds and the problem areas on the floor. There are no suprises on this truck. It has no carpet & you can see all that has been done to it. This truck starts all the time. It has a double wall hardtop. It is supposed to have a single wall but the double is a better top. You will have to drill holes on the top lip of the quarters so you can put the screws into the top & the hatch needs a little work. 350 engine w/350 tranny, I don't know the actual miles but the truck runs strong & shifts really nice. The right front u-joint needs to be replaced. It goes through all the gears & 4-wheel works. Don't know the rear-end ratio, comes with edelbrock carb, dual exhaust w/headers,body bushings have been replaced with nice rubber bushings(not the hard hockey puck style), aftermarket radio, auto transmission, new 31/10.50 15 Falken tires, hei distributor, newer model seats w/seatbelt built in, in front & back(back seat is removable, front driver seat has a tear), frame reinforced at steering box. I do have a set of 4inch leaf springs that are not on the truck but will be included in the auction. The truck also has an aftermarket roll-bar that I believe is a little more safe BUT i do have an OEM roll-bar. Winner of auction can let me know which roll-bar they want me to ship with the truck. This truck can really be made into something nice with just a little bit or work. All the hard work is already been done. If you have every dealt with a classic car you know what I'm talking about. The body labor alone will cost you an arm & a leg. I have left it so a novice bodyman can finish it off. I drive it 2 to 3 times a week to work(50 miles a day) & it drives nice. Well, good luck & the winning bidder will be getting a great truck. With a little elbow grease this can be a special truck......This vehicle is also listed for sale locally, so I may remove if sold... Please ask any questions that you might have. As there is no return on this vehicle once purchased. Buy it now has to be payed in full within the first 72 hours....I will answer them as best that I can. You can call me at 303-877-2384 with any questions.
