This is a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 1 ton cargo van with the 5.2 liter (318 cubic inch) V8 engine. It has 90,000 miles.It rides and drives great with a strong engine and 4 speed automatic transmission. It is a one owner vehicle and has been owned since new by the Kansas City, MO Water Department; it has received all regular maintenance and oil changes. This van has been well taken care of, is clean, and in great mechanical condition. It has brand new brakes on all 4 wheels and has passed the Missouri state vehicle inspection. I would feel comfortable driving this van anywhere today.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VAN RUNS ON COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) ONLY AND WILL NOT RUN ON REGULAR GASOLINE OR DIESEL! The body and paint are in decent condition; it does have a large dent in one of the side doors (please see pictures and close-up picture of dent) but, the door still opens and closes fine. The interior is clean and in good condition with very few signs of wear except a little wear on the driver's seat. It has locking shelving units inside and a large sliding toolbox that locks and is made of very heavy gauge steel and seems as strong as a safe - no kidding, it's really heavy and thick steel. We have the keys to the locking shelves and the toolbox. It has 4 wheel anti-lock brakes, automatic transmission, air conditioning, am/fm stereo, 2 seats in front, steel partition between front and back, large steel locking console/tool box in front between the seats, 4 CNG tanks that will hold the equivilent of 12 gallons of gas rated at 3600 p.s.i.g. and certified until 2016. I have been driving this van for three weeks and I love the savings of natural gas which is $1.19 for the gallon equivilent here in Kansas City. I'm getting about 12 miles to the gallon equiv. around the city. I have not done much hiway driving so, I don't know what it gets on the hiway but, I would expect around 16 mpg. There is NO RESERVE in this auction. I am located in Kansas City, Missouri. I would be happy to pick the high bidder up at the Kansas City airport if you fly here to pickup the van. I expect a $1,000 down payment within 7 days of the end of the auction and the entire vehicle must be paid for and picked up within 14 days after the auction ends unless we mutually agree to other plans. I will NOT be accepting paypal. You will need to a check or cashier's check or bring cash or cashier's check with you in person. Personal checks will need to clear before delivery of the vehicle. I am a licensed and bonded Missouri car dealer and can also work with your bank, credit union, or finance company where you have been pre-approved for a loan. You will be 100% satisfied with this van at the time of your picking it up or I will not ask you to buy it and I will refund your money. I have shipped hundreds of cars over the years and we can ship the van to you also if you wish at your expense and with the transport company of your choice.
