Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner Coupe. It is Basin Street Blue (Petty blue) with red stripes.IT was restored in 2010.Rust removed and replaced with metal. It has a date coded LA 318 engine 4 BBL with a 4 speed manual trans.150 MPH speedometer.Items replaced = interior, bumpers, mirrors, main wiring harness from Yearone, wiper arms, window trims and seals, body plugs, gas tank, and tires.I put 15 inch rims and tires on it,6 slot with baby moons and trim rings. The rims were powder coated and painted hemi orange.I also detailed the underside (painted gas tank hemi orange, pumkin ball aluminum, shocks blue),Looks cool from behind.I started detailing the engine compartment, almost finished. It has a hurst shifter, bucket seats.I added al the options that I could find for it.I put quarter window trim and a spoiler package and louvers,Hidden radio with remote.I do have a rear defroster and hose unit that will go with it.I have almost a full quart of touch up paint from DuPont, window trim, bumperettes, and other parts that I will include.I put a dress up kit in the trunk including tire cover.I blasted and refinished jack assembly.I also installed new exhaust tips, date coded ignition wires, sound deadener, and door handles, too much to list.It doesn't have posi traction, that was next on the list. The motor and trans work good but I haven't refreshed yet.Needs new trans mounts. The motor was tuned by a master mopar motor guy.It is not a project car.It is tagged and titled in Florida.Have copies of titles to document liniage, and reciepts from this restoration.30K invested. This car came from New Hampshire then to Delaware, now it is in Fl. with me.I would finish the remaining work but I was in a car accident and am not able to.It is a very nice car and it is a head turner..This is an "as is auction",no warrenties, and please ask question.Winning bidder to send $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 3 days from end of auction...Also only accepting certified Bank check, or Cash..NO MONEY ORDERS PLEASE...Checks can take up to 15 buisness days to fully clear...You arrange pickup and shipping. Thanks for Looking. On Aug-09-11 at 15:56:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention in the description that the car has front and rear torsion bars, manual choke (works),and a battery tender. It also has two horns, the original and a reproduction. The original one is for looks.Couldn't get it working.Hope this helps.Good Luck.Anymore questions please ask.On Aug-09-11 at 19:24:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Just adding more information:It has new air shocks in the rear and gas in the front. They work great for this car.It has disc brakes in the front, new rotors, drums in the rear. The brake assemblies were rebuilt with new bleeders installed. It also has all new stainless brake lines from year one.The brakes are manual and car has powersteering. All new u-joints,dash cap.All the guages work except the clock in the dash cluster.I rebuilt it and there is power to it but It's missing one part.Iput all new nos lock package doors trunk and ignition. The car was undercoated even above the gas tank before it was installed. The body mounts were changed and reinforced properly. The frame rail above the left rear shock was refabed properly also. This car was going to be my daily driver, and I wanted to put it back to close to original as possible. It has tortion bars in the front and rear.It did come with 14 inch redlines and red stripes. It's a great car and the motor starts runs good and doesn't smoke. It does show well. For what the reserve is your getting a steal.Good Luck and Thanks for lookingOn Aug-10-11 at 08:55:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Just adding more info and pictures from the under side. There is no A/C.The heater box has been rebuilt, and I had put a new fan, seals, and heater core ect.But the aftermarket coil failed.I capped the hoses.I didn't replace it,you don't need it in Florida. But an easy cheep fix.I undercoated the bottom of the car,and I will put some pictures of the bottom side in the listing. The frame rails are good, and prof.repaired in the spots that needed it.The front drivers side floor pan was replaced.Except for that and the fenders the metal on this car is good.I made sure the car was road worthy.I rebuilt the grill. It was trashed, but I used flexible material to redo it.This was my car,and it was done right.I really didn't want to sell this car.My medical condition dictates that.I rebuilt the washer bottle, and it has a new pump.added a detailed overflow bottle, fan shroud, ect.I didn't add any headers,It is straight exhaust with mufflers and exhaust tips.It sounds good. The motor is tight. The windows are in great condition. The rear ones don't roll down, because it is a coupe. The rear window is a new replacemsnt.Cost me over $500.00 to replace.I hope this answers all of your questions. Please ask more questions if I missed anyhing.I tell you what,If the car goes over $10,000.00,I will give the winning bidder all the parts that I have left for the car,I have extra door seals still in the bags, seatbelts, interior and body screws, front bumper fillers, dash clock parts, headlight buckets, rear window trim, and a brand new console with wood grain plate locking door, ash tray and bezel and the proper mounts for it.Even the squirter nozzels are nos. This is a real good deal. Thanks for Your interest.
