Vehicle Detail
no reserve %95 complete cafe racer. clean title. needs lights wired, battery and some minor finishing touches. the story... I took this down to the frame and cleanly removed all unused tabs. all electrical components moved under the swing arm. carbs are good and re-jetted, but may need to be given a quick cleaning. pipes are short with baffles. original "target" clip-ons, they're not cheap. I rode this bike for 3 years, its strong and light, I can lift both wheels off of the ground. its geared for acceleration now, not top speed cruising, but I'll included the top speed sprocket. the way its geared now produces wheel lifting gear changes and block long hole shots. I moved the kick stand forward so it hides under the exhaust. I rode this bike with no seat pad, but theyre $25 on ebay. since the bike is 150lbs lighter than stock the brakes are overkill, brembo stainless steel lines, kevlar pads, fresh fluid and you can add another disc and caliper for under $100 if you want to look cool, I'll include another caliper, disc and mc. honestly one is more than enough. tires are crumby street tires, can be used for another season or 2, the size tires on this bike are very easy to find and usually inexpensive. the worst part of the bike is the tank, I haven't gotten around to making one, but I'll include a second project tank. also I have compiled a list of very nice stock tanks that will fit. CLEAN TITLE, I just took the plate off of the bike since I have 3 other bikes, the insurance for me in the 5 boroughs was $38 a year and the bike gets over 40 mpg. parts are all over ebay and very cheap. this bike is easy and cheap to own, super simple to work on and a blast to ride. its honestly like a bmx bike, throw a knee down and wheelie out of corners, just don't expect to break 110mph too often. what needs to be done-wire lights-new battery (uses a small sealed sport bike battery mounted under the swingarm-shorten the clutch cable-ignition solenoid is showing its age, they can be found on ebay for $15 buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. bike is available to view during the auction EDIT: found an extra rear rim and brake, 16t stock trans sprocket, rear shocks with cut springs, swing arm, center stand, new oil filter, petcock and some other random stuff, it will go with the bike. whatever else I find will go to.
