I picked this up here on Ebay a few weeks ago for my wife's son as a first car. It's not a Toyota 4wd so he doesn't want it. He can get a job and buy his own car as far as I'm concerned. Don't know what is wrong with some kids these days. No one ever bought me a car. Runs good, starts right up, doesn't smoke. As is common with this year & model it has a few vacuum issues that seem to affect the climate control, door locks and transmission shifting points. AC doesn't work. Tranny shifts better if you shift it manually. Does not slip, has all forward gears & reverse. I don't have time to mess with it-too many projects already. Brakes work. Front end seems OK. I drove it to town a few times. Doesn't run hot, good oil pressure. Tires are useable. Interior is fair, all the glass seems good. One rear electric window doesn't work. Headliner is torn up a bit. Minor dings, 1 small dent on rear door. Paint on hood is shot. If you are looking for a supercharged 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, power everything, and handles like a Ferrari kind of car you will be sadly disappointed. This is nothing fancy, just basic cheap transportation. Although it can be driven as is, you will have to invest a few bucks to have a nice ride. Perfect for bio-diesel conversion. I just paid the back fees and got the registration current. Comes with a large folder of service & repair receipts & records so it was probably maintained fairly well. Sold As Is.
