Please read my entire listing and view all photos before bidding. Up for auction is my inlaws like-new 1992 Chevrolet Caprice 5.0l fuel injected V8. I'm 66 years old and have never seen a car of this age that was kept this nice. Purchased new in Warner Robins, Georgia, it spent its entire life in Augusta, Ga. Always garaged, the car has been very very well maintained and only adult driven. This vehicle has recently been serviced and has a brand new set of Goodyear radials on it with less than 2000 miles on them. I have the original window sticker and every service record since new. Absolutely never smoked in. The exterior is as new and the interior looks as if it were still in the showroom. No wear or marks whatsoever, and of course, no funny odors. Absolutely no oil use or oil leaks evident at all. The drivetrain is as smooth and the steering is as tight as you would expect them to be when new. The car is as tight as when it was purchased. The air cond. will freeze you out. Every option operates flawlessly. You would swear you were driving a brand new Chevy. The CarFax will show this is a one owner vehicle. The buyer of this beauty will be the second owner. The owners never put enough miles on the car to have it serviced every 3000 miles, so they had it serviced roughly every 3 to 4 months. Reciepts show when new belts, hoses, radiator flush etc have all been performed. The vehicle's documents also show where only a few hundred miles were covered between oil changes. It's clear the owners had intentions to drive the car for the rest of their driving days. Unfortunately, the time has come to part with the car. You can fly into Augusta and drive this car home anywhere. Remember, this is one of the last full-size, six-passenger American cars with RWD. The Chevrolet Caprice gets the highest ratings of any American car. All 5 star ratings. (check the feedbacks at edmunds.com). They're noted for being bullet proof. What the new owner of this vehicle will have is a new car for a used car price. Judging from how many miles these rear wheel drive chevys normally get, this ought to be good for another 200,000 miles.
