1996 BMW R1100RS 159,500mi. Runs great, shifts great. Everything works. No problems. When my newer bike would not start for a trip to Daytona this March, I loaded my stuff on to this bike and hit the road. Included a side trip to Key West with no problem. Was in one accident. A deer hit in 1998. Repaired by dealer. Some tipover damage on left side of fairing. I paint penned it in. Could be done professionally if it matters. Normal, expected small paint chips (pin head size) for a bike with this mileage. I have done most of the servicing since warranty. It is rarely in the shop. I added heated grips this year. Recent front rotors (Speigler) (late 2009) BMW Saddlebags with City lids New front tire: Bridgestone BT023GT. Great bike for highways and byways. I'll regret selling it. Note about the shocks: The front shock is a Works Performance with over 100k mi. Works good, rebuildable. The rear shock is the original and is worn out. On Aug-11-11 at 16:05:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Mileage is up to 159,800. Other, newer bike needed repairs.
