1979 JEEP CJ-7 GOLDEN EAGLE JUST RESTORED The restoration took roughly 2.5 years and all new parts were used, I'll list as many of them as I possibly can. I have all receipts if needed. Engine: 360 v8 crate motor, balanced and blue-printed from Tuff Dawg engines, roughly 365 horsepower, cost over $ 6k, edelbrock headers, edelbrock 650cfm carb. Ignition: MSD distributor, 8.8mm wires, coil, and ignition control module. Radiator: BEcool 4 core radiator, flowpro water pump, all new hoses Exhaust: Custom true dual exhaust that exits rear of vehicle All new wiring from Painless wiring Transmission: T-174 4-speed tranny with new clutch, Dana-300 transfer case Driveshafts: Tom Woods rear drive shaft, front is stock. All new u-joints. Suspension: Shackle reversal, 4" inch rough country lift, lift shackles, greasable shackle and eye bolts , and 1" poly body lift Brakes: Power brakes, new master cylinder, new cross drilled/slot rotors, new calipers, Rear brakes are drum and have been rebuilt Tires: 38 x 12.5 SSX Super Swampers with 15x10 wagon wheels with 500 miles on them Axles: Front : Dana 30 front widetrack with ARB Air Locker 4.10 gears, new hubs and wheel studs, Rear: AMC Model 20 widetrack with Full Detroit Locker, 4.10 gears, Super 20 kit from Yukon to help strenghthen axle, Crane diff cover. Interior: New Bestop front seats and sliding track, rear seat has bestop seat cover, all new Sunrpo volt-meter and oil power guages, Sunpro Tach, gas and temp guages are new and work. New plastic golf box, floor is coated in hurculiner. One spot of rust that has been filled and treated. 12 volt power source. New bestop windshield visors. New heater box cords and heater core. All dash items are brand new. Grant GT mahogany steering wheel with billet mount. Exterior: Perfect frame, no rust at all and straight, rust free body, New windsheld and frame, fenders have been cut to accommodate large tires, LED rear tail lights. New HID head lights and running lights are brand new OEM. New mirrors from Rugged Ridge. Tops: Full Bestop Super top with 2-piece doors, top is black denim in great shape. Bestop bikini top is new Accessories: Rugged Ridge 8500 winch, Hella 550 drivings lights on front, and 1 Hella 550 on back, custom rock crawler bumpers, On-board air compressor by ARB. BD rocker guards. Brand new Optima red top battery. Overall 32k invested in project over the 2.5 years period, this is a true blast to drive and turns many heads.
