Up for auction is a 2004 Land Rover Discovery that I purchased from a dealer in Vermont in January of this year. The vehicle had 140,705 miles at time of purchase. This Land Rover has been sitting at a vacation home I own in Vermont and has rarely been used. My reason for the purchase was to keep a spare vehicle for my families use that could handle the Vermont winters. I thought having an extra vehicle there was a good idea, but in short I have a lot of vehicles and it seems there were always more vehicles up there than a need. . This vehicle does have high mileage. No debating that point. I was very comfortable buying it because it was truly maintained and not abused. As you can see from the pictures and auto check, there were no accidents or bodywork done to this truck. The interior is truly as shown in the pictures. Upon purchase, I did replace the tires, brakes, battery and front end bushings. The positives on this truck are that it truly runs great and the engine is quite. It is as clean as any 2004 Discovery out there. On the negative side, the engine lights are on. I had a local mechanic in Vermont look at it and it checked out perfectly. He recommended I take it to a Land Rover Dealer. There are no Land Rover dealers within hours of this Vermont home. I decided to bring it to NJ to take it to the dealer to fix, then decided I would just sell it. While driving it to New Jersey last week (yes thats where the truck is now) I noticed that the air conditioning does not blow cold air. Other than these issues, I do not know of any other mechanic issues though some may exist that I am unaware of.Physically, the rear door glass is scratched from the windshield wiper. The lower rubber molding on the left rear door is partially cut off. The right quarter panel molding is slightly cracked. I am very particular person when it comes to cars so I notice everything. This vehicle is as described to the best of my knowledge.I am not a dealer and can not offer a warranty so bid accordingly. I know the dealer I bought it from and where it came from. This is not an auction truck being flipped.This vehicle was a local trade in. My feedback speaks for itself so bid with confidence. This vehicle will sell in this auction.
