Vehicle Detail
1927 Ford Model T Street Rod 1927 Ford Model T Street Rod Vintage Autohaus and Imports is proud to present this extremely well built, very detailed 27 Model-T Street Rod. The Quality in this 11 year build is amazing, almost as nice underneath as it is on top. The build starts with a painted Martz frame, independent front suspension with tubular control arm’s, polished coil-overs rear cover, polished stainless steel disk brake calibers with custom chrome brake backing plates. Rear suspension is Corvette Independent with chromed half shafts, polished ribbed rear cover, chromed hub connecting rods and again polished stainless steel disk brake calibers. The engine is a 5.0 L Chevrolet tuned port and 700 R-4 automatic transmission from an IROC Z. Professionally wired with Ron Francis wire works and a modified GM computer conveniently under driver and passenger seats. (NOTE: All wiring and plumbing is routed through special looms with Billet separators or stainless steel tubes) This car even has dual stainless steel fuel tanks tucked away underneath with GM pumps in both tanks and GM tank selector switch. The exhaust is stainless from Headers back perfectly routed “Tig Welded” exiting over the rear differential, electric Hydroboost brake booster with dual purporting valves all plumbed in stainless. Steering comes from a manual rack and pinions’ unit, cooling comes from walker radiator. The red exterior is slick, straight and nice (absolutely no rust). This is a near show quality car with only a few chips. The body sports a 1 ½ chop modified fiberglass filled roof panel, Rootlieb hood and custom chromed hood props, donated fuel door, fiberglass fenders and running boards all fitted and body gapped(NOTE: almost all fastener’s are stainless Allen-head or button-head and most are polished). The chrome radiator shell is nice and chromed headlamp bar and tail-lamp compliments the red exterior. The Interior is equally as nice with a tilt column, cruise control, Stewart Warner gauges, hidden switches that control heat, power windows and electric wipers. Sculptured tweed headliner, trim panels, seats and floorboards round out the balance of the interior with custom leather floor mats. The car has all custom cut, lightly tinted glass and rides on 14 & 15 inch wire spoke wheels with good rubber. This car shows 12,920 miles since built, is very well maintained and being sold at a fraction of the build cost. T’s are back and are hot commodities at the present day, don’t let this one slip by! . . . For more information and photos please visit or call Vintage at 806-359-9600.
