You are looking at a collector owned 1947 General Motors Company Truck. Truck wears the famous green and black color scheme made popular by the 1930s and 1940s American Pickup Trucks. Truck went through a $20K Frame Off Restoration in 2006 and has been driven very little since. During the Frame off: 1. Truck was taken down to bare metal, sanded, primed and painted. 2. New tailgate and cab floors installed and painted. 3. New wood bed with restored cross members. 4. Redone headliner and bench seat. 5. Cleaned and tuned the original motor. 6. All new chrome inserts and badgeing. 7. Undercarriage was painted and detailed. I would rate this truck an 8/10. Body is laser straight and was professionally done. All fenders, doors, hood and tailgate are steel and fit excellent. Drives as well as the original 1947 GMC Truck drove. Fires right up and runs well. Drum brakes. Does not have window wiper motors. Lights all work well. Chrome, paint and wood bed all shine like it is new. Although this is not a NO RESERVE auction, the price is very reasonable compared to others currently for sale! Priced at restoration cost. Collector owned. Collector has Street rods, frame off restored muscle cars, woody's, Mopar's, classic trucks, etc and this one gets the most attention on the roads and at the shows.
