Vehicle Detail

Up for auction today is a 1967 Buick Wildcat 2 door coupe. The good: Rebuilt original numbers matching 430 V8 with goodies inside like a Comp Cams Thumper camshaft, J.E. pistons, Comp Cams double roller timing chain, Manley sodium filled valves, Ross valve springs, Poston S-divider dual plane intake, Holley Street Avenger 700 CFM carb, K&N air filter. Engine has approximately 9,000 miles on it, and runs on Royal Purple fully synthetic oil. Rebuilt original TH400 trans with B&M shift kit and B&M soft parts installed, B&M Pro-Stick plus racing floor shifter. All 4 rims were refurbished and the paint renewed on them. The interior is in decent shape for a car of this age. The seats are intact and there is only one place where the headliner is coming apart at the stitching. Both fender skirts and all trim is in good shape. The Bad: The steel for the roof is absolute junk. The car was a vinyl top, and as they do the vinyl dried out and cracked, and held moisture against the metal. The whole tops sheetmetal is rusted out. The body has rust over the rear wheels. The passenger fender has bondo on it which is falling off. In summation, it needs lots of help on the body. The tires will hold air for a short while, but are dry rotted and need to be replaced. The car needs someone with more time to devote to her. She could be a very cool cruiser, given some time and money. I have it listed for a low price, why not just go for it? Shipping is up to the buyer, but I will assist how I can with what limited time I have. The car sounds beautiful, especially with the lopey idle from the cam.
