Uprated Stereo System, dual 12" subwoofers in trunk. NOTES This is a private sale. This car was my step-daughters after we bought it off ebay last year. She purchased the car with 89,000 miles and added 11,000 miles in the past year. However, she's a teenager, so she made some changes to the car - all of which are relatively easy to reverse. All in all, the car is in "fair" to "good" condition - its certainly not perfect at all, there is some minor bodywork damage that needs to be addressed, but it is ideal for a teenagers first car. Why a Mercedes for a Teens first car ? First of all, these cars are CHEAP, super-reliable, and the insurance rates are incredibly low ! My eldest son had 190e's and my step-daughter had this mercedes. Believe me, you'll sleep much more comfortably at night knowing your teenager is surrounded by the safety of a mercedes. The inline-6 is also prety good fuel consumption - and anything that hits a 3000lb mercedes isn't really going to do a lot of damage ! Kelley Blue Book Consumer reviews rate these cars a 4.5 out of 5. This is a LOT more stylish and a LOT safer than any similar priced Japanese or American hot-hatch. I strongly recommend doing research - you'll find this is a perfect first car for anyone. BRAND NEW TIRES ! The 4 goodyear assurance tires were bought at the beginning of the year, and less than 1,000 miles have been put on them. My step-daughter has had a couple of really minor "fender benders" - literally just tweaked the front and rear fenders in parking lots with bollards ! Both can be replaced very easily, there is no structural damage or insurance claim on the car whatsoever ! I could replace all the issues with about $500 of repairs, but I just need to get rid of the car before my insurance and registration renews in October, so please take it off my hands ! The car has been maintained by a local Mercedes specialist. The car is sold "as is" - I need to sell the car to make room in the driveway. The paint shines well, the wheels are clean - and shows off the new Goodyear Assurance tires extremely well. The tires have warranty - and is certainly transferable to the new owner. The car has been an excellent driver - and has ended up costing my step-daughter very little. The interior is very clean, very little issues in any of the items shown. Back seats are very clean, as is the carpet. As can be expected from a 100,000 mile vehicle, there are some minor stains. The trunk is huge. Forget buying a Japanese rice-rocket - the Mercedes is about the same price to run, and provides far more room inside as well as cargo space. A six-disc CD player is located in the trunk, but this isn't cabled up (in favor for the new in-dash CD player). The trunk opens automatically from the remote. My stepdaughter purchased the 12" subwoofers - the best thing is that the entire box is self contained, and can be lifted out of the car if not wanted. In the trunk is a good spare - together with all the right tools if you have an emergency. v This is the rear-right. As can be seen, my stepdaughter knocked into a bollard or a tree - very slight damage, but it did crack the plastic bumper. Front left of the car has a crack in the plastic bodywork and the plastic trim has pulled away from the metal. No structural damage. The steering wheel shows some age, and a spare steering wheel cover is in the trunk ready for the new owner. Center console is very clean. The wing-mirror switch is a little delicate, and there is some movement in the gear selector - but apart from that, everything works. All windows work perfectly. Air conditioning blows - but needs a refill. The new stereo works well. Another view of those pristine seats Car runs smoothly. 100,192 miles on the odometer. Another shot of the wood and center console. The wood is absolutely immaculate. The engine compartment is not immaculate - but it is clean and certainly doesn't show its 100,000 mile heritage. The engine has always been run on Mobil 1 5w 30 - and like all Mercedes, does burn its fair share - three quarts are sitting in the trunk for the next driver !
