1952 TRIUMPH THUNDERBIRD Up for auction, 1952 triumph thunderbird pre-unit custom built board track style bike built by Kendall Kustoms. This bike has been totally modified, the backbone is front axel of 1938 ford five window coupe that was arched , the downtube is a 1931 model a front axel stock radius. The neck is raked 32 degrees with a HD narrow glide that was shaved. Paint was done by Kendall. Front wheel is Jr's cycle Products, rear wheel is HD laced to a later triumph hub, tank is a original wassel that was hand dished and narrowed. Rear fender is from Led Sled Customs, Hand made handlebars, struts, foot pegs, seat mounts, tank mounts, Joe hHunt Magneto, Cook Customs inverted clutch handle. Brooks b-72 saddle with po go style function. This bike has endless hours in the making, there is not much on this bike has not been touched. It has won Best british bike at willies tattoo daytona 2011, Best of show, and best in class at Limpnickie lot 2011, and Best bike at Vintage Torque Fest 2011 in Iowa. It was shot to be featured in 4 magazines, France, Finland, Germany, and US. I built this bike to be a rider, but can also be showed. It gets alot of attention where ever i go. So be prepared to get alot of looks everytime you ride it. Its lots of fun riding. I have less than 500 miles on brand new motor, and trans. the motor has been built by me from the sludge trap up, all new pistons, valves, valve guides, push rods, bushings, crank and rod bearings. trans was also rebuilt.
