2002 BMW R1150GS Motorcycle, graphite and black with black leather seat. One owner and very low mileage. New tires purchased 5/15/09. It is equipped with an 1130 cc engine, air-cooled flat-twin ("Boxer") with additional oil cooling in the exhaust valve areas, lightweight single-plate dry clutch, hydraulic operation; 6 speed manual transmission with claw shift and integral torsional vibration damper; ABS anti-lock brakes (the earlier 2002 year ABS system), Twin BMW hardshell locking removable storage cases, heated handgrips and hand protection shields, Accessory Port (Battery Tender that uses this port included); adjustable windscreen. I purchased this motorcycle new in 2002 from Honda Northwest in Columbus, Ohio. It has been serviced regularly there and subsequently at BMW Columbus on Scarborough Road. The motorcycle is in excellent condition, but you should know that I struck a deer while riding this motorcycle two years ago. A doe jumped out from the side of I-70. I hit the brakes, but her next leap was directly in front of me. I struck the deer square and it bounced away in front. I never laid the bike down and was able to pull off the side of the road. The bike was driveable but the front fiberglass point above the front tire and the front fiberglass fender were damaged. There was no damage to the ABS system or the wheels/tires. Any damaged parts were replaced by the dealer. I have all the service records including the repair for deer incident. I love the motorcycle, but as you can tell from the limited mileage, I have very little time to ride it. The motorcycle has always been garaged. Payment will be by a PayPal deposit and the remainder in cash. I am not able to ship this motorcycle. You must pick it up in Zanesville, Ohio which is one hour east of Columbus on I-70, at a time that is convenient for both you and me.
