BMW R1100RT 2000 Everything works as it should. Is a nice riding bike. Everything is stock. Engine does not rattle . Very quiet. Good BMW gell battery. Also has valve cover protectors. I have done nothing but ride it some 5000 miles. I did not get any history when I received the bike, so no idea what maintenance needs to be done. Would think the police department would keep the bike up to date. This bike came with crash bars but were removed. If I can find them high bidder can have them also. All the cop equipment has been removed but some of the wiring is still on the bike.Here is a list of the bad, This bike has lots of scratches and boot marks almost all are minor, wheels also have scratches from tire changings, valve covers have a little rash and one of the bottoms of one fairing. { very low where never seen } the seal on one of the forks has started seeping, { only leak I know of on the bike and an easy fix } there is a small chip out of the plastic on the left mirror not noticable, rear tire is down to the get a new one mark, front is not a long way behind, throtle body shafts are getting on the loose side, they are starting to rattle when you just crack the throtle. Common on these. I have several of these bikes and all I received are running on open loop and running with an idle resistor. I have not checked them to find out why, as they run good with no surging and idle good. The windshield tilt plastic and one of the bags plastic has a repair, both not noticable.Bag lids are not stiff enuff and cause a gap at the back, all of the city cases do this. The side trim panels { right in front of the bags } did not come with this bike and I just run it without, so that is how it will be sold. There are a few deep scratches in the windshild. I am sure bike would look better if detailed, I do not have the time to do that. Bike has not been cleaned for a wile and is not covered with armorall. I also see that I have missed some of the bug juce but will try to clean it up a little before the end of the auction.
