This is one fine ride! I just have to make room for my other toys. Always Garage Kept. The Lower Running Lights under the standard High Beam are wired to be on whenever the ignition is; however, you can over-ride this with the Red Rocker Switch on the right. The Running Lights under the mirrors are wired to be on whenever the High Beam is on; likewise, you can over-ride this with the Red Rocker Switch on the Left. The Electric Eye next to the switches is attached to the Pulsating High Beam Headlight for daytime use. It does not Pulsate at night as the sensor will prevent that. I have found that the pulsating headlight has saved me more than once. When I get into town or behind another car, I simply switch off the High Beam; no more pulsating. You can also put something over the electric eye to make it stop functioning. I was told before I ever bought this bike that its night-time lighting was lacking! Boy were they right. Now with both sets of Running Lights, what a difference! There are a lot of hills and curves in east Tennessee; with this lighting I can see better than my automobile. It is scary to ride now without them turned on. Added: I added two (2) LED sets of lights in the rear; to be seen! One is a rectangular LED Tail Light w/ a Very Bright LED Stop Light (see pictures). The second is a LED Trunk Ribbon Lights just below the opening lid of the trunk. These wrap from the passenger seat on one side to the other. The top ribbon is Red and it wraps all the way around. It is on all the time. The bottom ribbon is Amber; the left side Flashes with the left turn signal and the right side Flashes with the right turn signal. They really show up at night; both to the rear & to the sides. The are a great safety item just like the headlights and running lights. I have added RAM mounting balls to the right rear passenger armrest. Consequently, you can mount anything there that mounts with a 1" RAM ball. I also mounted RAM mounting balls on Both handlebars. In the pictures, you can see an inexpensive adjustable beverage holder (Wal-Mart special) coupled with an adapter plate that I had made to attach it to the RAM mount. I also show a RAM adjustable holder for Cell Phones, iPods, etc. They work pretty neat. I frequently use both the front holders by putting my morning coffee mug in one and a ice water mug in the other. This bike is really quick & handles the twisties! Paint is excellent except for two flaws: you can see these in the bottom two pictures on the right side. I am sure a good paint shop could fix, but they are not all that noticible. Nitrogen filled tires; run cooler, never loose pressure; tires last longer, Oh! I forgot to mention: I also have a Clymer Manual for the 2005 - Service, Repair & Maintence. It really came in handy to add the accessories.
